Graphic Design
My experience with graphic design started out of necessity: as a booker of music shows at the local youth center, I needed to create show posters. Since then, I have taken design classes at Syracuse University and have become proficient with Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Below are just a few examples of some of my graphic design work.
Twizzlers Digital Ad
I created this ad using Photoshop for a class project. My team's strategy involved positioning Twizzlers as a classic American brand, and this was an example of a creative execution that would integrate Twizzlers with famous American landmarks.
Bad Movie Night Event Poster
I created this tabloid-sized event poster for a graphic design class. A friend and I went into downtown Syracuse to photograph this theater for the poster, and I subsequently cleaned up the image (blacking out windows, removing street objects, dulling light reflections, etc.) in Photoshop to make the final poster more focused. For a full rationale of my design choices, see this document.
